This is the FlightOS project
it is an open source multi-platform flight control system aimed mainly at rotary wing craft such as helicopters, tricopters, quadcopters etc.
It is designed to run on many different hardware platforms. Currently it runs on the Arduiono Mega with a custom shield. However it is in the process of beign ported to the DIY drones Ardupilot Mega and will also be ported to OpenPilot when that becomes available.
